The anchor of my fiction writing is my planned novel, Songs of the Eyldrmen, which serves as the introduction to my world of Estéa. It follows a young man named Brandur, who discovers a mysterious weapon that serves as the secret weakness to the previously impervious dragons that have oppressively ruled over his people for decades. He is then immediately burdened with the task of finding more weapons made from this same metal or else learning how to make more of his own. This presents him with the opportunity to become a great hero like those in the legends passed down by his people, but will his sacrifices be worth it?
This work is still in the drafting stage, so I wish I could offer even a ballpark estimate of when it could theoretically be published. Alas, there are many steps between now and then, most of which rely on me carving time out of my schedule.
Nevertheless, I hope to provide updates as I go along! Until then, I still like to write short stories in the same setting and explore various other aspects of my world, so do please feel free to read through my short stories and vignettes for a little taste (yea, an amuse-bouche) of my work.
